Alex Flohr is an Associate Strategy Director with Credera’s Experience Design practice and has been working in the world of innovation for eight years with companies like frog Design, Fahrenheit 212, Design Bloc, First Data’s Innovation Lab, and Prysmic, a startup she co-founded.

Alex prides herself on, not only being a tough problem solver, but a thoughtful problem framer and has worked closely with many clients - from Fortune 500 to nonprofits to newly minted startups. Her expertise applies design and innovation methodologies in cross-disciplinary teams to champion the voice of the consumer, across all categories.

Alex received her Master of Industrial Design and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degrees, both of which are from the Georgia Institute of Technology. While earning these degrees, Alex was selected for her work as an advocate of change within Georgia Tech as a University Innovation Fellow, receiving her formal Design Thinking training from Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design.

If she’s not exploring New York City on her never-ending quest for the best cup of coffee or scouting out weekend getaways with friends, you’ll most likely find Alex in the workshop (usually covered in sawdust) where she is building custom furniture or tinkering on her next, new project.
